The Legacy of the Bielski Brothers

When we think of the holocaust we think of the death of 6 million Jewish people, many of them children.

We don't often think about those that fought against the nazis and saved their own lives as well as the lives of others.  The Bieliski brothers fit into the latter category.  Tuvia, Asael and Zus established a partisan group that dwelt in the forests of Belarus. Although faced with many obstacles they managed to survive and helped save the lives of over 200 more Jewish people.
