North of Israel After Stormy Weather

Check out this aerial drone video of the Jordan River, Caesarea Philippi, and Nimrod Castle after some flooding in the northern part of Israel.

It seems Israel does not get much rain, but when it does, it does not take much for flash flooding to occur. Whereas this footage was taken in the northern part of the country, flash flooding also occurs in southern Israel and the Negev desert. Being such a small country with limited water resources, it is not uncommon for Israelis collect and treat water from agriculture, sewage, urban runoff, and the flash flooding throughout the country for cleaning up and converting into fresh drinking water for its people. The water also helps nurture Israeli agriculture, allowing for fresh produce to grow more abundantly in an otherwise arid climate. Besides produce, the flash flooding will give way to fields of wildflowers once the waters subside
