The Elah Valley

In this video Luke Chandler takes us up to the archeological site of Tel Khirbet Qeiyafa. From there you have a great view of the valley where David and Goliath fought.

King Saul and his army were on one hill on one side of the valley, and the Philistines in another. Both locations are visible from the footage Luke filmed. Every day the Philistine giant Goliath, harassed the army of Israel. No one was willing to fight him until David came on the scene.

David heard the curses of Goliath, and decided to take a stand for God’s honor.

David went to King Saul and told him he wanted to take on Goliath.

The brook where David collected his 5 stones is clearly seen through Luke’s camera. One of those stones amazingly found its way from David’s sling into Goliath’s skull.
