Shavuot in Jerusalem - What is this Holiday?

Shavuot is a Biblical holiday as well as an Israeli national holiday.  But what is the story about this holiday? Why are we supposed to eat dairy products? Jerusalem Street Productions asks people on Ben Yehuda Street in the middle of Jerusalem, Israel.
