Speaking to us from the Past: Colorizing Photos from the Holocaust

Turkish artist Yusuf Tolga Ünker colorizes black and white photos from the Holocaust.

It makes the past alive, and forces the viewer to see these events as though they were happening today. The images become even more shocking and emotional.
