Israel’s National Water Carrier was first developed to add water to the Sea of Galilee.
Over the last 70 years, the plan has gone from bringing water to the Sea of Galilee to providing water for Israel’s agriculture and drinking water. They use a system of huge underground water pumps, canals, and enormous desalinization plants to keep Israel green.
