This cartoon, created back in 2013, is one example of many that shows that Jewish people have been among the most vocal voices call for help for the Christians who are being persecuted by muslims.
Unfortunately many times when I read of people pointing out the plight of Christians being slaughtered it is not so much in defense of those Christians, but in contrast to the Jewish suffering. The line goes something like this: “Why is everyone so concerned about the Jewish being killed in “- - - -“ when there are Christians being killed.” Why can’t we be concerned for both? Especially since both have a common attacker.
Yaakov Kirschen, the creator of the Dry Bones cartoons, was a strong supporter of Judeo-Christian heritage.
