What a fun take on a Christmas Classic, “Santa Claus is coming to town.” For so long, Christmas has dominated as the Holiday of December, but what if it wasn’t? Perhaps this is just one way it would look.
Brightening the night with the lights of the Menorah and with all its rich meaning. Love, unity, caring for one another, and most importantly, the love of God for us, are the heart of Hanukkah. Well, and you can’t forget the food, the glorious food during the holidays. I would have to say Hanukkah rivals Christmas on that one any day.
As you can see, Hanukkah is every bit as festive and meaningful as Christmas. Now I could explain how Christmas came about or how we could celebrate Yeshua’s birthday during his actual birth month, but that would take away from the joy of this song and the love of the season.
December is a wonderful month, whether you celebrate Christmas or Hanukkah, if we understand the true meaning behind both holidays. There we find joy and unity with all those who truly love God and Yeshua.
Watch the whole video, I love it, and how they show people we know who are Jewish and therefore celebrate Hanukkah too. So have fun and sing this delightful song this holiday season.
