Sweet Home Jerusalem

Sung by Menachem Herman

Lyrics rewritten by Rabbi Lazer Brody

This video is a parody of the song Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd. It is filled  with scenes from Jerusalem, echoes a longing for Jerusalem, as King David wrote, “If I forget you, O Jerusalem, Let my right hand forget its skill!” (Psalm 137:5), and foretells of the soon coming Messiah.

The song is played by Chassidic Rock guitar player / vocalist, Menachem Herman

Menachem is a very talented musician who has traveled globally for 30 years. The band is a favorite at concerts, weddings, bar mitzvah’s, and many special events.

The song’s lyrics were written by Rabbi Lazer Brody, with Avi Israel on Keyboard, Grand Piano and backup vocals by Tomer Buchnic, Trumpet by Ruvain Marantz, Sax, Clarinet, Flute by Jonathan Hill, Trombone, Classical Guitar and backup vocals Danny Freedman, Violin Hillel Herman, and Percussionist Yoni Madar.

The video was filmed by Donny Wetzler, Brian K.Spector Edited by Brian K.Spector
